I met this great family for the first time for their holiday session at the begining of December. Mom has style! I walked into their beautifuly decorated home and asked if she would come decorate mine for the holidays too! The 8 week old was such a doll and didn’t make a single peep the whole tim. And big brother was a great helper and quite the ladies man!
Eeeek! Little Andrew is just too cute for words… He was wide awake and squirmy through the family pictures, but once he was in the spotlight he fell right to sleep and let me work my magic! Knowing Andrew’s mom has a thing for pumpkins, I had a few ideas up my sleeve. Plus, she brought this addorable owl hat, and the football to recreate a picture she saw on Pinterest. I love how they came out!
I’m so excited to share this maternity session with you all. Mom is such a beautiful prego! We tried so hard through this whole session to get Big Sister to kiss mom’s belly (of course at home she does it all the time) but she wasn’t having it that day. However, every time we asked her where “baby” was she would point to mom’s belly, so we settled for that. 🙂
I can’t tell you how excited I am to meet the new addition to their wonderful family. Their little one arrived on Monday… Stay tuned for unbearable cuteness once we do his newborn session!
For so many reasons, I can’t believe that this adorable little girl is already one! Not only was she born just a month after my own little girl, but her mommy is very special to me. Her mother and I have been friends since our freshman year of college. So as we had Miss Grace’s one year session it brought smiles to my face thinking of how her mommy and I have each grown and the different paths our lives have taken. And yet, our paths always find one another as the years fly by. I have had the privilege of photographing Grace since she was a newborn. It has been beautiful watching her grow and learn. I can only hope that she and my daughter can be as good of friends as me and her mommy will always be.
