Anyone who knows this couple will tell you that they are country ALL the way… So when we talked about locations for their engagement session this place was one of the first to pop into my head. I had been waiting and waiting for the perfect session to use this old green truck. The evening that we went out to take these wasn’t more than 40 degrees and windy. By the end I don’t think any of us could feel our fingers or our noses. Despite the freezing cold,I think it turned out perfect and I can not wait to shoot their wedding in November!
I have a few days of free time as I wait for the arrival my baby… So I figured now would be a perfect time to catch up on posting some of my older sessions and photographs. I know, I know – It’s about time!
Back In October I attended the lovely wedding of a friend. They were married and had the reception at The Rio in downtown Denver where they met on their first date. How cute! The casual setting fit them perfectly. I absolutely loved her dress… it was stylish, cute and spunky just like Keri!
Here are some of my favorites…
The second day of Ferah and Fahad’s wedding was as great as the first. Ferah wore the most beautuful champagne dress with Gold threaded and beaded trim. Just before the sun set I took the bride and groom to the rooftop patio of the Curtis Ballroom were the festivities were held to take some couple pictures. The sky was a beautiful light blue and the sun cast great light on the bride and groom. This experience was so much fun, I can’t wait to do another in the future!
Last summer I photographed Ferah and Fahad’s two-day wedding. Their wedding was full of wonderful traditions and customs from their Pakistani background. This was a first for me, and I was delighted to be a part of it. The entire family was so welcoming and gracious! I never felt like I was working, but instead felt like one of the family. I fell in love with all of the amazingly rich colors everyone was wearing – it made for some vibrant photographs.
